Today was one of those days where I couldn't get enough coffee to wake me up.
Colin is sick and was up a lot last night.
Fever, sore throat, and ear pain. Ugh.
I did not get out of my pajamas at all.
(I actually warned Gary about that before he got home.)
Since we were homebound I put on some movies for the kids and worked on a big hair clip order.
A boy in Riley's class is having a Lego party and the mom wants clips for the girls.
Isn't that a cute idea?
I thought so, too.
So after I made hers, I dug through the boys' 538 million Lego's and stole two for Avery.

She is *very* familiar with Lego's, and was happy to wear them.

This girl is all about her hair.
Right after she gets dressed she wants a clippie.
She likes wearing pigtails because she says she looks like Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street.
She sits absolutely still while I try to learn to braid her hair without it looking like a monkey did it.
She is the perfect girl for me.

Adorable clips... adorable girl.
I absolutely adore you and your family! Man. Hope that doesn't sound to cyber-stalkerish...
I was reading your pumpkin patch post the other day and my husband walked by and said, and I quote, "now that is a good looking family!"
I told him I have already asked for either of your cute boys for Ellie and he thought that was a good call.
Oh. And I love the clips!
How sweet. I love the clips, very cute! She looks so cute. Could she come and teach Makiah to sit still for hair fixing?!? My girl wouldn't sit still if I paid her! LOL Cute idea for the lego clips.
remember those words "she's a perfect girl for me" when she hits teenage years because she'll still be "the perfect girl for me" (and lets hope she is a good teen that never gives her mom grief
Sorry Colin is sick; hope he's feeling better today
cute idea with the Lego's and the clips; I see lots of potential with that; I could see perhaps Legoland liking to see your designs :)
hoping today is a good one for you all

Very cute. I love those clips.
Love her! And when you graduate to learning french braids come on over and we'll experiment on my Doodlebug!
