{Pumpkin Milkshakes}

I treat myself every year around this time to pumpkin ice cream.
I've loved it ever since trips to the pumpkin patch as a little girl.
It's pumpkin-ey, nutmeg-ey, and yummy.

This is just about as good.
And easy.

A few scoops vanilla ice cream...1 cup milk...3 Tbsp. pumpkin pie filling...and 3 Tbsp. caramel ice cream topping.
Blend, sprinkle with nutmeg if you wish, and voila: pumpkin caramel milkshake.

It's a hit with all of the boys - and girls - in the yard.
{ha - get it?}

Since you'll have a lot of pumpkin left over from that 28 oz. can, you might as well make the pumpkin muffins on the back of the label.

And if you want to substitute chocolate chips for the raisins, I'll support that decision.

And if your laptop is still in the shop and you need to eat a couple of those muffins to fill the void, that's OK too.

Totally irrelevant to pumpkins, but I LOVE the peach milkshakes from Chic-fil-A.

Oooh, those milkshakes looks good. And yes I get it-brings all the boys to the yard- cute.

The muffins looks good too. I have a recipe I am going to try this week for harvest muffins. Looks similar but you add more pumpkin, and chopped apples. Hmmm.

and no calories right?? I think there's that rule out there that if the laptop is in the shop, all food consumed while laptop is under repair are zero calorie foods :)

I looove pumpkin, thanks for the recipe! A few seasons ago I made pumpkin smoothies and loved them but the recipe seemed so obvious to me at the time I didn't write it down. The next year I had no idea what I'd done and all the recipes I've found have been yuck! I want to figure it out again, but so far everybody acts like a pumpkin smoothie is a terrible idea. Glad I'm not alone :)

Tried the milkshakes and muffins today. Initially Katie said ew to the milkshakes before trying them...but then she loved them.
That's the story of her life.
