Christmas cards...(almost) check.
Need to run and buy a few more stamps.
I actually enjoy addressing envelopes and seeing the names of all of our friends we don't see often.
{Miss you Mari...Amy...Jenny....}

New (old) window
with lots of sentimental value.
I'm thinking of painting the frame....
The mantel's still a work in progress.

A paint obsession.
Avery loves it;
and I realize that I hate the smell of tempera paint.
She has used up all of the pink paint in about 3 days.

Why?
Because - to quote her - "I yike pink".

This has been a long week for us.
Avery gave us a little scare, but she's fine.
Gary and I may have some new gray hair, but she's perfect.
I read this a lot this week.
It's one of my favorites.
I'm a worrier by nature, so I go back to it a lot.
Maybe I need to get it tattooed somewhere.
Just kidding.
**Hip hip hooray for Friday!**

When Chasity was smaller, I used wax paper and vanilla pudding for her to paint. She could use her hands or whatever to paint with. Then, if she decided to eat it (and she often did) it was safe for her. Plus, you can mix any color you want with food coloring! lol Even pink since she "yikes" pink! ;)
I "yike" pink too.. and orange! Glad Avery is ok.
She is a doll and I love her art! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Love the new header!
I "yike" pink too. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Well I'm certainly glad everything is ok! We have a lot on our minds too. No fun at all.
Love, Love your new header! I am sorry I didn't ask about Avery yesterday! I meant to! I am glad she is okay. Glad to see you yesterday!
certainly a very good verse to have engraved on our hearts (or in a tattoo too!) so sorry with the scare with Avery; so thankful all is as good as it can be too! Jeremiah 32:27 is a good one for me to remember that God is the God of the impossible; I prayed that a lot in hard times
loved the stocking holders; those are just the cutest things!!!! very festive (that's my word of the season) and sooooo adorable!!!
pink is a great color! Avery had so much concentration on her face as she was painting away
I'm thinking your new blog header was from Tahoe
hugs to you all!
betty
Love the mantle.
Hi! I found you via Joy's Hope. Your title hit a nerve... :) I currently have 2 baskets full of clean clothes to fold and put away. It will probably take me 4 days to complete the process.
Anyway, I love your blog and the verse you highlighted. Bet you'd love this song:

I yike this post. And pink, bright pink especially. I am glad Avery is okay. One of my favorite scriptures too.
