It's *the* gift to give this season.
Too many people in this world have no access to clean water.
Something we all take for granted daily.
But we can help.
Julie had a vision, and there are many people working to make it happen.

Make a change in a real person's life: help build a well.
{And as a bonus: you can win some fun goodies!}

Money well spent, don't you think?

It's so weird you posted this: while Ellie was in the tub tonight, I was watching NBC nightly news where they were discussing the water shortages. Scary stuff. I suddenly felt very guilty about all that water in the tub, which we totally take for granted.
first of all that is an awesome tag with the scripture verse! I checked out the blog; very interesting project; I have to go back and take a longer look when I have more time and get involved. Last year hubby got for Christmas a share in a well through World Vision for a village in a third-world country that without the well would have to walk miles per day to get fresh water (we take it soooo for granted, don't we?? but after our $266 water bill this month, we are being more aware of it). I'm not sure what we are going to do this year for our Christmas gifts to each other (donation to a charity/organization) but I'm definitely going to at least contribute one ticket's worth for this project.
we also need to continue to remember to do this throughout the year and just not at Christmas, know what I mean???
thanks for letting us know about this :)

I just have to comment, I haven't looked at the link yet... but my parents are living in Borneo- East Malaysia right now working as humanitarian missionaries and their big focus is working on getting clean water supplies to schools...it sure makes me feel blessed when I see the pictures of where they have been and the way the schools they are helping currently get their water-
just wanted to share..
